Shuran Huang

Shuran Huang is a professional photographer and educator with extensive experience in editorial photography. Since May 2021, Shuran Huang has operated Shuran Huang Photography, collaborating with prominent clients including The Washington Post, The New York Times, and National Geographic. In addition to photography work, Shuran Huang serves as an adjunct professor and academic mentor at Sacred Heart University, providing guidance in Adobe programs and multimedia technologies. Previous roles include photographer and photo editor for the Dow Jones News Fund and NPR, where Shuran Huang managed visual storytelling and photo projects. Education includes a Master of Science in Photography from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and a Bachelor of Arts in International Journalism from Hong Kong Baptist University.
