Artistic Operations Assistant at North Carolina Symphony

Samantha Gallup is currently the Artistic Operations Assistant at the North Carolina Symphony. Prior to that, they were the Program Coordinator at the International School of Music from August 2017 to June 2018, where they worked with a team to manage school operations by processing student enrollments and withdrawals, coordinating faculty schedules, tracking attendance, responding to inquiries, and coordinating and hosting student recitals. Samantha was also the Operations Assistant at Festival Mozaic from July 2017 to August 2017, where they worked with the operations team to facilitate 25+ concerts of varying sizes within a five-week period, at venues ranging from local churches, to large performing arts centers, to remote wineries. Samantha acted as musician liaison, rehearsal librarian, stagehand, usher, merchandise/raffle attendant while at Festival Mozaic. Prior to that, they were the Administrative Intern at Studio Art House Inc from January 2017 to May 2017 and the Interim Personnel Manager at the North Carolina Symphony from May 2016 to August 2016.

Samantha Gallup has a Bachelor of Arts from Case Western Reserve University in Music and International Studies. Samantha also studied abroad for a semester in Arab culture at The American University in Cairo. Samantha has a high school diploma from Raleigh Charter High School.
