Briana Atwell

Educator at North Carolina Zoo

Briana Atwell is an experienced educator and musician, currently serving as an Educator at the North Carolina Zoo since April 2022, focusing on conservation and animal care education for zoo guests. Concurrently, Briana Atwell has been a Graduate Assistant at UNC Charlotte's Belk College of Business since 2019, providing support in administrative tasks and grading. In addition to these roles, Briana Atwell has operated as a musician since January 2014. Earlier experience includes an internship at UNC Charlotte, where responsibilities included classroom management and student support in a second-grade environment. Briana Atwell holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Zoological Science Technology from Davidson-Davie Community College, a Master’s degree in Management from UNC Charlotte, and two Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
