Jessi Culbertson is an experienced zookeeper currently serving as Zookeeper II at North Carolina Zoo since March 2015. Prior roles include Animal Care Specialist at the Museum of Life and Science from May 2012 to March 2015, managing the Explore the Wild area, and executing daily husbandry procedures. Jessi's background includes multiple internships in animal care across various institutions, starting with the Greensboro Science Center in 2010. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Oregon State University and an Associate’s degree in Zoo and Aquarium Science from Davidson County Community College. Previous work experience also encompasses roles as a Veterinary Technician at Animal Hospital West and Carolina Veterinary Specialists.
