Doug Browne

Doug Browne's work experience includes serving as Vice President - Finance and Accounting at North Carolina's Electric Cooperatives since May 2019. Prior to that, they held the same role at the North Carolina Electric Membership Corporation from October 2017. Doug also worked as Controller and Manager of Financial Reporting and Compliance at the North Carolina Electric Membership Corporation. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Associate at Ernst & Young and Grant Thornton LLP.

Doug Browne attended North Carolina State University - College of Management from 1996 to 2000. Doug earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting during this time. After completing their undergraduate studies, they went on to pursue further education at the same institution. From 2000 to 2001, Doug obtained a Master of Accounting degree, specializing in the field of Accounting.
