Pete Phillips has over two decades of experience in technology services within the education sector, currently serving as the Executive Director of Technology Services at North Central ESD since 2001. In this role, Pete provides leadership in areas such as educational technology, instructional technology integration, and professional development for staff, focusing on innovative teaching methods for the 21st century. Previous positions include Associate Director of Technology Services and Managing Director of Network Services, where Pete successfully implemented a $1M cooperative of network and IT services for schools in North Central Washington. Additionally, as Fiber Optic Project Coordinator, Pete facilitated the installation of fiber optic connections for 28 schools, collaborating with regional public utility districts. Prior to joining North Central ESD, Pete was a Technology, Math, and Science Teacher at Entiat School District from 1994 to 2001. Educational qualifications include a BS in Engineering/Design from Eastern Washington University and a BA in Technology-Design Education from Central Washington University.
