Daniela Arizmendi

Daniela Arizmendi is an experienced educator currently serving as a Bilingual ELL Teacher at North Chicago District 187 since August 2023. Previously, Daniela worked as a Literacy Interventionist Teacher at Chapter One US, focusing on high-dosage tutoring for low-income students from June 2022 to July 2023. From September 2022 to June 2023, Daniela held the position of Lead Teacher at Innovation Learning & Education, coordinating after-school programs and ensuring student safety while promoting innovation. Additional experience includes English tutoring at NorthShore Academy, substitute teaching across all grades in Kenosha Unified School District, and serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Libertyville Manor Extended. Daniela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Middle/Secondary Education English/Language Arts from the University of Illinois Springfield, and has completed certifications as a Nursing Assistant/Aide.
