Joseph Parker

Joseph Parker is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Principal at North Chicago District 187 since July 2023 and at Waterloo Community Unit School District 5 since July 2018. Previously, Joseph held administrative roles, including Principal with the NYC Department of Education from August 2005 to June 2009, and Program Lead Teacher & Alternative Program Coordinator at Proviso East High School. Joseph's earlier career includes two Project Manager positions at Pearson Education and Pearson Digital Learning, where significant contributions were made to the implementation of educational software in over 200 schools in Miami-Dade. Academic qualifications include an M.S. in Educational Leadership from Baruch College and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Illinois State University.
