Joel Murphy is an experienced professional with a diverse background in technical and business development roles. Currently serving as the Technical & Lighting Director at North Cleveland Church Of God since February 2022, Joel previously held the position of Director of Business Development at ExecuTrain from January 2023 to January 2024. During a tenure at HCTec from November 2016 to November 2022, Joel advanced through various roles including Training and Transitions Manager, Training Lead, and Assistant Application Coordinator, focusing on the transition of on-site services to the helpdesk. Additionally, Joel has extensive training experience as a Certified Trainer at HDI and an Epic Credentialed Trainer in healthcare settings. Joel holds a Bachelor’s of Music Education degree from Lee University, attained between 2010 and 2015.

As the founding church of the Church of God denomination (that is headquartered in Cleveland, Tennessee), North Cleveland has nurtured the ministries of many teachers, ministers, and evangelists and it continues to grow locally and spread its ministries and mission around the world. We are thankful for what God has done and how He’s used North Cleveland to this point, but also hold firm to the vision He’s placed in our hearts to continue loving and serving the needs of our community and the world.
