Greg Matis

Greg Matis is currently the Facilities Manager at North Coast Church. Greg previously worked as a Fire Engineer at the San Marcos Fire Department from January 1990 to December 2000.

As a Fire Engineer, Greg was responsible for operational readiness, responding to emergency incidents involving medical issues, fires, hazardous materials, and rescue. Greg also organized public service work and education programs. Greg is highly skilled and has training in emergency scene management, specialized rescue procedures for confined spaces, trench rescue, and high angle rope rescue. Greg is able to work under extreme physical and mental pressure and make decisions quickly and under stress.

Greg Matis' educational career includes a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Biola University as well as certification from the State of California Department of Motor Vehicles in Commercial Drivers License Class B.
