North Cross School
Nicole Dabney has extensive work experience in education and language instruction. Nicole has held various roles at different institutions, working as an English and Mandarin teacher, an ESL instructor, a modern languages instructor, and a program coordinator. Their experience includes teaching at both the secondary and university levels, as well as serving as a designated school official assistant. Additionally, they have worked as a Fulbright Fellow, an independent translator, and an intern in the China Program at The Carter Center.
Nicole Dabney completed their Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Language and Literature, Government, and East Asian Studies at Lawrence University in 2008. Nicole then pursued a Mandarin Training Center program at National Taiwan Normal University in 2009. Nicole later obtained their Master of Arts in Chinese Linguistics from Indiana University Bloomington in 2014. Nicole also participated in a study program at Capital University of Economics and Business in China in 2007.
