Donna Hay

Donna Hay is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in management, leadership, and English teaching. Currently serving as a Management & Leadership Specialist in the Learning & Development Team at North East Lincolnshire Council since December 2022, Donna develops and delivers training programs. As a Team Leader for AQA since May 2010, Donna oversees a team of examiners involved in the GCSE examining process and examines GCSE English scripts, holding an 'A' graded examiner status. Previous roles include Head of English and Associate Assistant Head at Caistor Yarborough Academy, and Programme Specialist Lead for English & Maths at North East Lincolnshire Council. Donna also managed education services at Make the Grade UK and taught at Hessle High. Donna holds multiple qualifications, including an NPQSL from Best Practice Network and a Bachelor's Degree in English Studies from the University of Hull.
