Helen Sargent

Helen Sargent has extensive experience in social work, currently serving as a Practice Supervisor for the Leaving Care Team at North East Lincolnshire Council since 2013, focusing on care experienced individuals and unaccompanied asylum-seeking children. Previously, Helen held multiple positions within the same council, including Assistant Manager for Children in Care and Senior Social Worker, managing court work and long-term processes for looked after children. Before joining North East Lincolnshire Council, Helen worked as a Social Worker at Doncaster Council from 2009 to 2013 and started as a Graduate Trainee Social Worker at North East Lincolnshire Council after earning a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Hull and a Master's degree in Social Work from Sheffield Hallam University.
