Ross Blackwood

Ross Blackwood is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research, engagement, and volunteer management, currently serving as the Research and Engagement Lead for North East Lincolnshire Council since March 2016. In this role, Ross supports community engagement and project direction within the local authority through the co-produced engagement strategy, "Talking, Listening, and Working Together." Prior to this, Ross held various positions at North East Lincolnshire Council, including Volunteer and Engagement Officer and Volunteer Coordinator, focusing on building effective relationships with the voluntary sector and managing the award-winning volunteering brand, TakePartNEL. Ross also has a background in business development, finance, and customer service, having worked as a Territory Manager for PepsiCo, Cluster Manager for Moneyline, and Retail Finance Manager for Cash Store Financial, along with managerial roles in hospitality and tourism with Mitchells & Butlers and Thomas Cook.
