Cpc Hunter Smith

Hunter Smith, CPC has extensive work experience in revenue cycle management and operations. Hunter has served as the Director of Revenue Cycle and Operations at North Florida Surgeons since February 2022. Prior to this, Hunter worked as President at WHS, where they provided medical consulting services, sold and supported various medical products, and managed an outsourced medical billing division. Hunter also held the position of Director of Revenue Cycle Management at Med First Primary & Urgent Care from March 2019 to August 2020. Before transitioning to the healthcare industry, Hunter worked as a DNA Specialist at NC SBI Crime Lab, processing blood samples for CODIS database. Hunter also has experience in the telecommunications industry, having worked at AT&T as a Billing Implementation Manager and a Business Systems Specialist, where they were responsible for designing billing solutions and testing systems.

Hunter Smith, CPC began their education journey in 2000 at NC State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. Hunter successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2003. Moving forward, in 2007, Hunter attended East Carolina University, where they pursued a Master's degree in Physician Assistant. This phase of their education lasted until 2008. Hunter Smith, CPC has a strong foundation in the field of Zoology and has further enhanced their knowledge and skills by obtaining a Master's degree in Physician Assistant.
