Craig Morgenthal, MD, FACS, serves as the Vice Chairman of the Department of Surgery and Medical Director of the Baptist Center for Bariatric and Reflux Surgery at Baptist Health since 2007. Additionally, Craig holds the position of Section Chief in the Division of General Surgery. Concurrently, Craig is a practicing physician at North Florida Surgeons. Prior experience includes a fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine and a residency in surgery at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Craig earned an MD from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.
