Andrew Nix

Andrew Nix is currently employed at North Georgia EMC since August 2015, working in roles such as System Operator, System Operator Technician, and Dispatcher. Prior to this, Andrew worked at Dalton Utilities/OptiLink from December 2010 to August 2015 as a Control Center Operator and Meter Reader. Andrew also has experience working as a Firefighter at Whitfield County Government from January 2009 to October 2011, and as a Quick Lane Tech at Brooker Ford Inc from January 2007 to July 2011. Andrew is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science degree at Bismarck State College, having previously completed an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electrical Power Technology at the same institution. Additionally, Andrew holds a Certificate in System Operator from Northwest Lineman College and graduated from Northwest Whitfield County High School in 2007.
