Heather Pelat

Heather Pelat is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in digital media and public relations. Currently serving as the Director of Communications for North Hills School District since May 2019, Heather promotes positive relations within the school community, manages district communication, and oversees digital platforms. Previous roles include Content & Media Manager at Dagostino Electronic Services, Inc., where marketing strategies were redefined, and Sr. Content & Social Media Manager at Media General, where collaboration with multiple television stations enhanced content distribution. Heather’s career also includes significant experience at WKRN News 2 as Digital Content Manager and earlier positions such as Web Producer at WPXI-TV. Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Business from the University of Pittsburgh.
