Samantha Ellwood is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in educational and community support organizations. Currently serving as the Executive Director of The Woodlands Foundation, Inc. since April 2020, Samantha has successfully guided the organization through the challenges posed by COVID-19 while managing a diverse team of full-time and seasonal staff. Prior to this role, Samantha was the Executive Director at Providence Connections, Inc., where leadership contributed to comprehensive support for over 400 children and families, managing a substantial budget. Samantha's career also includes significant positions at the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh, where relationship-building with schools and community partners enhanced access to educational programs, and earlier roles in early childhood education. Samantha holds a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Drexel University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown. Additionally, Samantha serves on the Board of Education for North Hills School District since December 2023.
