Edna Isela Ramirez currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for both the National Organization for Victim Advocacy (NOVA) and Seis Puentes Hispanic Outreach, while also holding positions as a Business Engagement Specialist and Health Promoter at the Arkansas Human Development Corp, and a Victims Advocate for the North Little Rock Police Department. Since 2015, Edna has directed the Community Based Prison Reentry Initiative at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Additional roles include ownership of A & A Tax and Language Solutions, where services in tax preparation, translation, and notarization are provided, and volunteer work as a Limited English Proficiency Victim Advocate at the Center for Healing Hearts and Spirits. Edna's past experiences highlight a commitment to community support through various roles, including a contract Spanish Interpreter and Hispanic Community Impact Specialist. Edna's educational background includes a Master of Science in Criminal Justice and Corrections, alongside two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Sociology and Criminal Justice and Corrections from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
