Valentin Codruț Bratu

Valentin Codruț Bratu is an experienced professional in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and forestry management, currently serving as the Street Scene GIS and Systems Officer at North Northamptonshire Council since April 2021. Previously held roles include serving as Street Scene GIS and Systems Officer and GIS Support Officer for the shared project of Corby & Kettering Borough Councils from June 2018 to April 2021, and Corporate LLPG/GIS Officer at Corby Borough Council for a temporary contract in March 2018. Prior experience includes working as a GIS Contractor with Cyient/Openreach in 2017 and holding various positions in forestry within Romania, including Senior Adviser at the Ministry of Environment and Forests, and administrative and engineering roles in private forestry companies. Valentin Codruț Bratu holds a Master’s Degree in Geographic Information Science and Systems from the University of Leicester and a Bachelor's degree in Forestry from Universitatea Transilvania din Brașov.
