Abdul Latif Memon has over 16 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Abdul Latif began their career as a Petroleum Engineer trainee at BP in 2001 and later transitioned into the role of Reservoir Engineer, where they worked on depletion planning and field development studies of sandstone reservoirs. In 2012, Abdul joined Maersk Oil as a Senior Reservoir Engineer, where they were responsible for coordinating reserves and leading a team in delivering 3D dynamic sector models. Abdul Latif then took on the role of Head of Opportunity Maturation & Execution (OME) team, where they led a multidisciplinary team and successfully matured a two-year rig program. Abdul joined North Oil Company Qatar in 2017 as the Head of Reservoir Management for the Shuaiba Nahr Umr field.
Abdul Latif Memon holds a Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University. Prior to their Master's Degree, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology.
