Ahcene Benamara

Ahcene Benamara is an experienced petroleum engineer with a strong background in reservoir engineering. Ahcene currently holds the position of Reservoir Engineering Lead at North Oil Company Qatar since April 2017. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Reservoir Engineer at Maersk Oil Qatar from January 2013 to April 2017. Before joining Maersk Oil, Ahcene served as a Senior Reservoir Engineer at ADCO from March 2009 to December 2012. Ahcene began their career as a Reservoir Engineer at Sonatrach - Organisation Ourhoud in May 2001 and worked there until March 2009. Ahcene's early work experience includes a role as a Petroleum Engineer at Sonatrach from February 1998 to April 2001.

Ahcene Benamara obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Université M'Hamed Bougara de Boumerdes, where they studied from 1992 to 1997. Ahcene then pursued a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Oklahoma, attending from 1999 to 2001.
