Andy Russell

Andy Russell has an extensive work experience in the legal field, primarily focused on the oil and gas industry. Andy started their career in 2011 as a Graduate Trainee at ASCO Group. Andy then worked as a Secondee Trainee Solicitor in the Legal & Commercial Department of EnQuest in 2013. The same year, they also served as a Secondee Legal Assistant in the Legal & Corporate Affairs department of Maersk Oil.

In 2014, Andy held multiple roles in different companies. Andy worked as a Legal Secondee/Project Team Lead at GE Oil & Gas and later as a Secondee Legal Advisor in the Legal & Corporate Affairs department of Maersk Oil Qatar. Andy also served as a Secondee Legal Advisor at Total from 2016 to 2017.

From 2012 to 2017, Andy worked at Brodies LLP, where they held various positions including Trainee Solicitor - Oil & Gas, Solicitor - Oil & Gas, and Senior Solicitor.

Since 2017, Andy has been employed at North Oil Company Qatar. Initially, they worked as a Legal Counsel, then as a Senior Legal Counsel, and currently holds the position of General Counsel & Compliance Officer.

Andy Russell attended Aberdeen Grammar School from 1998 to 2004. Andy then enrolled at Robert Gordon University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from 2006 to 2010. After completing their undergraduate studies, Andy went on to The Robert Gordon University in 2010 to 2011, where they obtained a Diploma in Legal Practice, specializing in Law.
