Bakhyt Zupinov has a work experience that spans over several years, starting from 2006. Bakhyt began their career as a D&M Field Engineer at Schlumberger in 2006 and then went on to work as an Engineer at the same company in 2007. In 2008, they became a Wireline Field Engineer at Schlumberger, where they acquired quality petrophysical open hole logging data and performed pre-job planning of logging operations. Bakhyt also managed field operations staff and had technical communications with clients during this role.

In 2011, Bakhyt joined Maersk Oil as a Petrophysicist and later became an Operations Petrophysicist. In these roles, they executed drilling and data acquisition for 51 long extended reach development and appraisal wells in thin-bed carbonate reservoirs. Bakhyt also planned and executed various data acquisition jobs, such as LWD, wireline, PVT sampling, and pressure acquisition.

Since 2017, Bakhyt has been working at North Oil Company Qatar. Bakhyt began as an Operations Petrophysicist, where they supervised LWD, wireline, coring, and core handling operations. Bakhyt collaborated with the Drilling Department and Asset teams for well planning and placement, as well as with various Asset teams for planning appraisal well programs. Bakhyt created petrophysical methodologies for undeveloped reservoirs and conducted real-time geosteering and well placement in coordination with rig personnel and operation geologists. Bakhyt also integrated petrophysical data into static and dynamic reservoir models and was responsible for the company's petrophysical database. Bakhyt provided technical support for contract tendering and used petrophysical software such as Techlog and Techlog Studio.

In 2022, Bakhyt Zupinov was promoted to the position of Head of Geological Operations at North Oil Company Qatar, where they currently hold this role.

Bakhyt Zupinov completed their education with a Diploma in Engineering from the Almaty Institute of Power Engineering and Telecommunication between the years 2000 and 2005. Following this, they pursued further studies at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and obtained a Master of Science degree between 2006 and 2008.
