Mark Laurie has a diverse work experience in the field of energy and engineering. MARK has worked as a Senior Reservoir Engineer at North Oil Company Qatar and was responsible for well production optimization and drilling long horizontals. Prior to that, they held the same role at Woodside Energy where they were assigned to multiple projects, including the development of the Browse Gas Field and the operation of the Brunello gas and OKHA FPSO oil producing asset. Mark Laurie completed their Bachelor's degree in Exploration Geology from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd between 1993 and 1996. Following that, they pursued a Masters (MSc) in Reservoir Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, which they completed from 2003 to 2004. Lastly, Mark Laurie obtained another Masters (MSc) from Heriot-Watt University in Renewable Energy Development, which they acquired between 2015 and 2017.
