Philip Brown

Philip Brown has extensive experience as a reliability engineer, with their most recent position being at North Oil Company Qatar since 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a reliability engineer at Maersk Oil from 2015 to 2017 and at Qatargas from 2013 to 2015.

In addition to their roles as a reliability engineer, Philip has also worked as a consultant, specializing in maintenance excellence in the oil and gas market. Philip held this freelance consultant position from 2012 to 2013 and as a senior consultant at Petrofac from 2011 to 2012.

Before entering the oil and gas industry, Philip worked in various analytical and programming roles. Philip was an analyst at Maritime Life from 2001 to 2005 and a programmer/analyst at xwave in 2001. Prior to that, they worked as a senior consultant at Keane from 1999 to 2001 and as a senior consulting engineer at Development Engineering International Ltd from 1997 to 1998, where they focused on projects in the utilities and oil & gas industries.

Philip Brown obtained their MSc (distinction) in Information Systems from Robert Gordon University in 1998-1999. Philip also earned a BSc in Physics/Electronics from The Open University between 1991 and 1997. Additionally, they obtained the CMRP certification from The Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals in November 2008.
