Sou Chitavong

Sou Chitavong is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Field Operations Systems Lead at North Oil Company Qatar since April 2017. In this role, Sou leads a team focused on the functional support of petroleum applications and business data integration, facilitating communication between business and IT teams to ensure operational efficiency. Prior to this, Sou held various positions at Maersk Oil from May 2007 to April 2017, including Production Data Management Lead and Production Engineer, gaining expertise in production data systems and analysis. Early career experience included roles as an Offshore Drilling Engineer and a Professional Services Consultant at ORSYP S.A. Sou holds multiple master's degrees in Telecommunications and Biomedical Engineering from esteemed institutions, including Télécom Paris and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
