Brett Smolenski is an experienced academic and research professional with a robust background in electrical and electronics engineering and mathematics. Since January 2007, Brett has served as a Lecturer at SUNY Polytechnic Institute while concurrently working as a Senior Research Engineer at North Point Defense, Inc. since June 2017. Prior experience includes a position as a Research Engineer at Assured Information Security (AIS) from May 2012 to May 2017 and a role as a Mathematics Consultant at the Air Force Research Laboratory in 2001. Brett holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Temple University, a Master of Arts in Mathematics from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Penn State University.
