Alex MacDonald

Alex MacDonald has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2012, Alex worked as a Management Intern at Black Pearl Defense, where they prepared marketing reports and supported the business development team. In 2013, they served as an Administrative Assistant at St Andrews Links Trust, contributing to the general operations of the trust and managing logistics. From 2014 to 2015, Alex worked as a Business Development Consultant at Black Pearl Defense, executing presentations for international clients.

In 2016, Alex became a Government Account Manager at Hilti (Gt. Britain) Ltd. They then joined novoville in 2017 as a National Sales Manager, focusing on sales and marketing strategy development for the UK market. In 2018, Alex became the Director of Business Development at HighSide, Inc., where they later assumed the role of Director of Operations, overseeing secure team collaboration software.

In 2020, Alex added two new roles to their work experience. They became the Director at MacDonald Mackie Consulting Ltd., and also co-founded North Point Distillery, serving as the Co-Founder & Commercial Director, as well as the Co-Founder & COO.

Throughout their career, Alex has developed a broad skill set and experience in sales, marketing, management, and operations.

Alex MacDonald attended Ashbury College from 2008 to 2011 and earned a High School Diploma. Subsequently, from 2011 to 2015, Alex MacDonald studied at the University of St Andrews, where they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
