Marci Saxon has a Master’s of Music in Vocal Performance from Case Western University and the Cleveland Institute of Music, a Master’s of Music in Voice from the University of Akron and a Bachelor’s of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Akron. She also attended the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria. She is a classically trained singer and still does performances in Northeast Ohio.
Her previous work experience includes an Instructor of Music at Cuyahoga Community College, a General Music Teacher for Pre-K through eighth. She has also worked as a Preschool Music Teacher through the North Ridgeville Parks and Recreation.
Marci has lived in North Ridgeville for over five years with her Husband Craig and two kids who currently attend Liberty Elementary. . Her involvement includes previous co-chair for North Ridgeville Citizens for Better Schools, member of the Facilities Planning Committee, classroom volunteer, PTA officer at Liberty Elementary and Lear North Elementary, past President of Westshore Mothers of Twins Club.
Marci is currently part of the Policy Review Committee and Curriculum Committee and serves as a North Ridgeville City Council Liaison, Endowment Funds Liaison, OSBA Legislative Liaison and Citizens for Better Schools Liaison.
In her free time she enjoys participating in scouting activities with the kids, traveling, reading and spending time with the family.
