Chinthaka Sumanarathna

Chinthaka Sumanarathna has a strong background in planning and engineering. chinthaka started their career in 2003 as a Trainee Process Engineer at Holcim. chinthaka then moved to MAS Holdings in 2005, where they worked as a Design Engineer specializing in Circular Knitting Technology. After that, Chinthaka joined Northsails in 2011 as a Planning Manager, and later took on roles such as Planning Team Leader and Production Engineer. In 2018, they became the Head of CSM and Planning at North Sails.

Chinthaka Sumanarathna began their education at the University of Moratuwa in 2000, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a focus on Chemical & Process. chinthaka successfully completed their degree in 2005. In 2003, they also enrolled in the Bandaranaike Center for International Studies and obtained a Diploma in International Affairs, which they completed in 2004.

Chinthaka Sumanarathna later attended the University of Colombo from 2007 to 2008, where they pursued a Master's degree in Business Studies, focusing on business administration and related subjects.

In 2010, Chinthaka Sumanarathna pursued further education at the International Register of Certificated Auditors, specializing in auditing. chinthaka completed the ISO 9001 Lead Auditor program in 2011.
