Gayantha Akalanka Kumarasiri

Gayantha Akalanka Kumarasiri is an R&D Engineer currently employed at North Sails since July 2022, having previously served as a Project Engineer. Prior experience includes a role as an R&D Engineer at US Lanka Rubber Solutions from September 2021 to April 2022, and a position as a Trainee Technical Engineer at Midas Safety Sri Lanka in mid-2019. Gayantha holds a BSc in Engineering with a specialization in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, completed in 2020, and is pursuing an MBA in Technology Management at the same institution from January 2024 to 2026. Gayantha's foundational education was completed at Ananda College from 2007 to 2015.
