Fred Baert

Fred Baert is a seasoned professional in commercial management, currently serving as Commercial Manager at North Sea Port since January 2018. Previously, Fred held the position of Beleidsmedewerker commerciële dienst at North Sea Port - Port of Ghent from September 2015 to January 2018, and worked as a Business Consultant at Sofico from September 2012 to September 2015. Early career experiences include an internship at EthiCom in 2012 and bartending at Bar-on from 2007 to 2012. Fred Baert holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from HOGENT, along with an Erasmus degree in Business and Economics from the University of Limerick. Educational background also includes attendance at Sint-Lievenscollege Gent from 2001 to 2007.
