Michelle Simons

Michelle Simons is an accomplished professional in the field of addiction counseling and recovery support, currently serving as the Opioid Impacted Family Support Grant Coordinator at North Shore Community College since January 2018. In addition to this role, Michelle works as an Adjunct Professor and REC Facilitator for the Recovery Education Collaborative, focusing on recovery-oriented courses. Michelle also contributes to the Town of Swampscott's Health Department as an Opioid Settlement Fund Program Contractor and serves as a Clinical Supervisor at Gloucester Community Impact Unit. Michelle's extensive experience includes managing private practice at Sea Shell's Addiction Counseling and previously coordinating recovery coaching at Lynn Community Health Center. With a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Salem State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services from Lesley University, Michelle has a comprehensive background in prevention, case management, and community engagement.
