Zainab Jimada

Zainab Jimada currently serves as Adjunct Clinical Faculty at Tufts Medicine, focusing on med/surg nursing, while also working as an Advanced Practice Nurse at North Shore Community Health. Previously, Zainab held the position of Family Nurse Practitioner at Stony Brook Community Medical from January to July 2023 and served as Teaching and Research Nurse II at Stony Brook Medicine from October 2019 to July 2023. Early nursing experience includes roles as Nurse Clinician II at Harris Health System and Houston Methodist, as well as various student nurse positions at institutions such as Texas Children's Hospital and Memorial Hermann Health System. Zainab holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Family Practice from the University of Arizona, along with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Science from The University of Texas Medical Branch and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Anatomy from Ahmadu Bello University. Continuous education in Women's Health Nurse/Nursing and Neonatal Nursing was also completed through the Association of Women Health Obstetric and Neonatal Nursing.
