Matthew Deterding is an experienced professional with a demonstrated history in gas and environmental systems management. Currently serving as a Field Coordinator and Weld Inspector at North Shore Gas since February 2020, Matthew previously held the role of Senior Construction Specialist at EN Engineering from October 2013 to February 2020. Prior to that, Matthew worked as a Gas Technician II at Waste Management, where significant responsibilities included managing landfill gas systems and operational improvements. Matthew's foundational experience includes serving as a Diesel Wheeled/Track Vehicle Mechanic in the US Army from 1991 to 1995, focusing on repair and diagnostics of vehicle systems. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from Northeastern Illinois University and an Associate’s degree in General Studies from Oakton College.
