Bruce Rutkin

Director Of Structural Heart Disease at North Shore University Hospital

Bruce Rutkin has extensive work experience in the medical field, particularly in the area of interventional cardiology. Bruce is currently serving as the Director of Structural Heart Disease at North Shore University Hospital since January 2018. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at North Shore-LIJ Health System, including Interventional Director of Transcatheter Valve Therapies since July 2014 and Interventional Cardiologist since 2003. Additionally, they have also worked as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at NSLIJ Health System, Hofstra University School of Medicine, starting in July 2007.

Dr. Bruce Rutkin began their education journey by attending Tufts University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General. Following this, they enrolled at Stony Brook University from 1996 to 2000, earning their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
