Lucas Jubb is an accomplished branding and graphic design professional with a diverse background spanning several years in the industry. Currently serving as the Head of Brand at North Star Coffee Roasters since June 2021, Lucas also held the role of Branding Lead. As a Co-Founder of Turtle And Hare from June 2018 to August 2023, significant contributions were made to brand development. Lucas's freelance experience includes notable stints as a designer for various companies such as Forever Beta, Magpie, and 10 Associates in 2017. Prior to this, a role as a Creative Designer at Epiphany Search involved creating digital projects for numerous clients. Lucas Jubb earned a BA Hons in Graphic Design from The University of Huddersfield, reflecting a strong foundation in design expertise.

North Star is a family united by a love for coffee and a desire to build a bright future for all it supports. Established as the first wholesale roastery in Leeds in 2013, the team work to deliver positive impact with every cup, mindfully sourcing specialty grade beans from growers we know and trust, and from farms that promote agroforestry techniques and social responsibility. Many of our purchases support initiatives focused on climate change resilience and youth/female empowerment. This approach, we feel, is key to growing an industry in which everyone participating can thrive. A commoditised supply chain has detached consumer from producer resulting in an unequal, unjust and volatile situation placing a question mark over the future of coffee. Our small team of dedicated coffee professionals work with integrity and authenticity to connect and put the humanity back into the coffee transaction.
