Phillip Richards

Phillip Richards has had a distinguished career in the financial services industry, starting as a Financial Advisor with Penn Mutual in 1962 and later with Hartford Life from 1965 to 1968. In 1969, Phillip acquired North Star Resource Group, where Phillip has served as Chairman & CEO and led the company to earn multiple prestigious awards. Elected to the Temple University Board of Trustees in 2009, Phillip also holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Board. A globally renowned speaker, Phillip has presented in over a dozen countries on strategic planning and leadership, and Phillip is an accomplished author of several books. Additionally, Phillip serves as an Adjunct Professor Emeritus at the Carlson School of Management and has taught at the Central University of Finance and Economics in Beijing. Phillip holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Temple University, where education was completed between 1958 and 1962.
