Craig Howell is currently working as an OSAR Program Manager and TTOR-Priority Admission Counselor at North Texas Behavioral Health Authority. Prior to this role, Craig served as a Substance Abuse Counselor at Dallas County Treatment Center, Restoring Lives Counseling Center, and MHMR of Tarrant County. Craig also worked as a Detox Substance Abuse Counselor at Homeward Bound Inc. Craig holds a Certification in Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling from ICDS and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the University of North Texas.
North Texas Behavioral Health Authority
The North Texas Behavioral Health Authority (NTBHA) is the state designated Local Behavioral Health Authority (LBHA) for the counties of Dallas, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro and Rockwall. NTBHA was created to be a safety net for our behavioral health system of care, which encompasses mental health, substance use, and crisis services for persons eligible for Medicaid and/or public behavioral health funds within our six county region.
