Stuart Mitchell

Stuart Mitchell is an experienced IT strategist and architect, currently serving as Head of IT Strategy and Architecture and Lead Architect at Electricity North West since June 2022. Previously, Stuart held prominent roles as Chief Architect at NHS Digital and 1Spatial, and Chief Architect at Axiologik. Stuart has a strong background in enterprise architecture, having contributed significantly to the development of architecture practices at Plusnet and Yorkshire Water, where responsibilities included spearheading digital transformation initiatives. Furthermore, Stuart has extensive experience from United Utilities, where the digital strategy was a major focus, alongside previous consultancy roles in GIS and Information Systems. Stuart holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Hull.
