Wynand Bester

Wynand Bester has extensive experience as a Chief Rock Engineer, with roles at Gold Fields from 2006 to 2011, Anglo American Platinum from 2011 to 2016, and currently at Northam Platinum since 2016.

Wynand Bester has a diverse educational background. Wynand started their education journey at Port Natal from 1980 to 1987. However, no specific degree or field of study is mentioned during this time. Later, from 2000 to 2004, Bester attended the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, where they pursued a BSc (Hons) in Exploration Geophysics. Finally, from 2007 to 2011, Bester attended the University of the Witwatersrand, where they obtained their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Rock Mechanics.
