Micah Shute

Micah Shute is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at Northbeam, previously holding positions as a Senior Software Engineer at Gusto and a Data Engineer at Aether Biomachines, Inc. Micah has a background in software engineering, with experience as a Cohort Lead and Technical Coach at Flatiron School. Prior to transitioning to the software field, Micah served in the US Navy as a Nuclear Submarine Officer, where responsibilities included reactor plant management and supervision. Micah holds a Master of Science degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering from the University of Delaware, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Control Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.
