Silvy Wright

Deliberate, dynamic, and above all, committed to exploring new opportunities, Silvy brings a refreshing perspective to leading the organization forward as President and Chief Executive Officer for Northbridge.

Previously, Silvy played a pivotal role in building Markel Insurance into Canada’s premier trucking insurer, including as President and CEO since 2006, as well as Executive Vice President and Vice President, Finance since joining Markel in 1994. Prior to joining Markel, Ms. Wright held senior positions in the insurance and financial services industries. She has an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Commerce from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Accountant.
