Kristin Cash

Kristin Cash is an experienced educator specializing in Spanish and English as a Second Language (ESL). Since August 2015, Kristin has served as a Spanish Teacher at Northbrook School District 28, following a prior role as a Spanish Teacher at Chicago Public Schools from August 2012 to July 2015. Kristin has a strong background in curriculum design, employing a Backwards Design model aligned with Illinois Foreign Language, Common Core, and WiDA standards. Prior to teaching, Kristin worked as a Specialist at Apple, where business-related technological solutions were provided, and as a Writing Fellow at DePaul University, assisting undergraduate students with their writing skills. Kristin holds a Master of Education in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from the University at Buffalo Graduate School and dual Bachelor's degrees in Spanish Language and Literature as well as English with a concentration in Creative Writing from DePaul University.
