Christine Downey

Christine Downey serves as the Chief Risk Officer at Northeast Bank since January 2024, bringing extensive experience in risk management and consulting. Previously, Christine held the position of Managing Director at Strategic Risk Associates, leading the Risk Consulting practice and overseeing client engagements. At Northern Bank & Trust, Christine spent over a decade progressing from Vice President of Risk Management to Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer, where leadership was provided in enhancing the enterprise risk management framework and directing various risk management programs. Prior roles include Audit Manager at Century Bank and Director of Internal Audit at Fidelity Investments, where responsibilities encompassed independent audits and corporate audit practices. Christine holds an MBA in Finance and Organizational Studies from Boston College Carroll School of Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Boston College's School of Management Honors Program.
