Richard Cohen

Richard Cohen is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as CFO at Northeast Bank since January 2024, Richard has also worked as an investor and advisor at Smart About Health from April 2022 to May 2024. Richard was a shareholder and board member at DocFox, contributing to the development of a comprehensive KYC and onboarding system, and served as CEO of Grey Matter Thinking from August 2008 to May 2024, focusing on growth, finance, technology, consulting, and training. Prior to these roles, Richard was a partner at KPMG from January 2001 to September 2008, with specific experience in both audit and advisory services. Richard holds a B.Com in Accounting from the University of Cape Town and an M.Com in Economics from the University of the Witwatersrand.
