Mark Morley, AICP, is a transportation analyst with a diverse background in urban planning and transportation system development. Currently employed at the Northeast Corridor Commission since January 2025, Mark previously served as a transportation planner at the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, where significant contributions included developing a Python application for connectivity analysis, authoring a white paper for the TRB Annual Meeting, and managing bicycle and pedestrian planning initiatives. Mark's experience also encompasses roles such as senior transportation planner for Delaware County, zoning plans reviewer for Maricopa County, and affordable housing specialist with AmeriCorps VISTA. Educational credentials include a Master’s in Urban Planning with a focus on Transportation Planning from Temple University and a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Development from Appalachian State University.

The Northeast Corridor Commission’s mission is to bring the states, commuter agencies, Amtrak, and US DOT together to modernize and improve the Northeast Corridor rail system through increased collaboration, transparency, and accountability. Through this partnership, the Commission’s members can achieve more together than by working alone.
