Fayez Safadi

Fayez Safadi serves as the Director of the NEOvations Bench-to-Bedside Medical Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program at Northeast Ohio Medical University since September 2011, alongside roles as Professor and Ohio Research Scholar. Additionally, since September 2018, Fayez is a Senior Scientist at the Rebbeca D. Considine Research Institute at Akron Children's Hospital and the Chief Scientific Officer at GPN Therapeutics, Inc., a company founded by Fayez focused on drug-device combinations for spinal fusion. Prior experience includes a tenure at Temple University School of Medicine from 1998 to 2011, where Fayez held the positions of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor of Anatomy and Cell Biology. Fayez obtained a BSc and Ph.D. in Endocrinology and Bone Biology from the University of Southampton between 1989 and 1996.
